About Moocho:

General Responsibilities:

We hire students to work marketing events and campaigns on or near their campus. The work is fun and usually very simple -- handing out free stuff on campus, relaying talking points to fellow students about a product or service, etc.

College GameDay is in need of 10 volunteers on Friday Oct. 11 (7:30 AM-12:30 PM) and Saturday Oct. 12 (4:30 AM-12:30 PM) mornings for on-site set-up and activation. They are aiming to have a 50/50 breakdown between male and female volunteers, and are giving priority to those who can work the entire shift for both days.

Friday’s work will primarily consist of setting up for Saturday. This will include covering TV visible barricades with Home Depot branded covers, building out a photo activation element, setting up the Home Depot VIP hospitality area, setting up the Campus Cornhole event, and other odds and ends. GameDay will also be doing a few activations on Friday after set-up. Saturday will consist of last minute set-up and prep before the broadcast and all on-site activations which include a photo activation, a sign making station, and a hospitality area.

Taryn Rudolph can answer more of your questions and help sign you up. They prefer you be able to work both shifts, but if you are only able to work one you can still reach out to her and see if they can work something out. You will receive 2 points for working this event.

Madison Capitols Internship Opportunities
The Madison Capitols revamped internship program gives students real-life business experience in a fast-paced atmosphere.  Students will learn from professionals in the industry, and they will have the capabilities to bounce ideas off of Capitols management and ownership.  The Capitols internship is a resume builder, and students can use all employees for references following the completion of their internship.
The internship will begin with an orientation with the Capitols staff and executives prior to the start of the 2016-17 season.
Throughout the season, students will gain experience in sales, marketing, community relations, public relations, game presentation, and event planning.  Office hours will include, and are not limited to, sales calls, distribution of marketing materials, community donations, and ticket operations.
Game nights will include, and are not limited to, assisting management of groups attending the game; sales of season tickets, group nights, merchandise, and Chuck-A-Pucks; in-game promotions, in-game presentation elements; and box office duties.

The Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau is a private, nonprofit 501 C-6 corporation contracted by the City of Austin to market the city as a convention and tourism destination. In addition, under terms of this contract, Austin CVB also houses the Film Commission, Music Office and Austin Sports Commission.
